Carmen

Early Years Educator and SENCO

Education: Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.
BA Honours Degree in Education and Social Science.

Before studying for my Degree I have previously worked in a small pre-school and took on the deputy SENco roll for 3 years. I have also been a Nanny. I have a passion for early years education and feel that this is such an important time for all of the children to learn and develop through their individual interests and needs all whilst playing and having fun!
No day is ever the same and working with children never fails to put a smile on my face. I work in the Pre-school room supporting the children’s development on their journey to school. I am also responsible for ensuring the children’s individual needs are met as the settings SENco. This means that I work with parents, children and staff to ensure all the children’s needs are being met and that they all fulfil their potential through fun, creativity and play.
I live in Orcheston with my family and my spare time is spent with friends, learning the guitaqr and walking in the surrounding countryside.
