We opened Snowdrop Cottage to offer a different approach to childcare. We think that childcare should meet the family and child’s needs. We pride ourselves on the relationships we form with our families. Starting our own families gave us an insight into what parents are looking for when it comes to childcare.

I have worked in nurseries since starting my degree which has allowed me many insights into how they all differ…

After completing my studies I worked as a manager of a day nursery for 2 years. I believe that working with families as a whole is really important in ensuring the best possible care for the child. I think that creating an environment where a child feels safe and secure is the best way to ensure that they are happy and can achieve their full potential.

I live in Chippenham with my husband, Jonathan, my sons Austin and Heath, and my daughter Emmeline. We enjoy spending lots of time together as a family.

I have experience of working in the nursery environment since 2005 working at management level since 2008…

I feel passionate that children can learn so much from the outdoor environment and think that it is a fundamental part of childhood. I have fond memories of making daisy chains and dens in my early years and think that every child should have the opportunity to make mudpies!

I currently live in Corsham with my husband, Matthew, our daughter Evelyn and son Felix. We enjoy spending time together outdoors as a family and try very hard to keep up with our allotment!
